MAJU TERUS MENUJU KEMENANGAN
“Dalam peperangan ini tidak usah kamu bertempur. Hai Yehuda dan Yerusalem, tinggallah berdiri di tempatmu, dan lihatlah bagaimana TUHAN memberikan kemenangan kepadamu. Janganlah kamu takut dan terkejut. Majulah besok menghadapi mereka, TUHAN akan menyertai kamu.” 2 Tawarikh 20:17.
“Jalan hidup umat Allah haruslah menanjak dan maju terus menuju kemenangan… Ada satu di tengah-tengah kita, yaitu Kapten keselamatan kita, yang telah berkata untuk memberi semangat kepada kita: “Ketahuilah, Aku menyertai kamu senantiasa sampai kepada akhir zaman.” “Kuatkanlah hatimu, Aku telah mengalahkan dunia.” (Matius 28:20, Yohanes 16:33). Dia akan menuntun kita menuju kemenangan yang pasti. Apa yang telah dijanjikan Allah, Dia mampu melakukannya kapan saja. Dan pekerjaan yang Dia berikan kepada umat-Nya untuk dilakukan, Dia mampu menyelesaikannya melalui mereka. Jika kita menjalani hidup dengan ketaatan yang sempurna, janji-janji-Nya akan digenapi bagi kita.” 2T 122.1.
“Ketahuilah, Aku menyertai kamu senantiasa sampai kepada akhir zaman.” [Matius 28:20.] Itulah kata-kata terakhir yang diucapkan-Nya, dengan tangan-Nya terentang untuk memberkati; dan kemudian ada rombongan malaikat bagai awan yang bernyanyi tepat di atas mereka. Kristus tertarik ke atas, sementara tangan-Nya terentang untuk memberkati, dan Ia berkata kepada mereka, “Ketahuilah, Aku menyertai kamu senantiasa sampai kepada akhir zaman.” Sekarang saya ingin engkau mengingatnya. Ketika engkau dalam kesulitan, engkau memiliki Dia yang dekat denganmu.” 17LtMs, Ms 229, 1902, par. 13.
“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17.
“The course of God’s people should be upward and onward to victory… One is in our midst, even the Captain of our salvation, who has said for our encouragement: “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (Matthew 28:20, John 16:33). He will lead us on to certain victory. What God promises, He is able at any time to perform. And the work He gives His people to do, He is able to accomplish by them. If we live a life of perfect obedience, His promises will be fulfilled toward us.” 2T 122.1.
“Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” [Matthew 28:20.] Those were the last words that He spoke, with His hands outstretched in blessings; and then there was the cloud of angels that were singing right above them. Christ was attracted right upward, while His arms were outstretched in blessing, and He was telling them, “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Now I want you to remember that. When you are in trouble, you have got One that is close by you.” 17LtMs, Ms 229, 1902, par. 13.
