SELALU MEMBAWA SERTA SURAT KEPERCAYAAN KRISTUS
“Akhirnya, saudara-saudaraku, bersukacitalah, usahakanlah dirimu supaya sempurna. Terimalah segala nasihatku! Sehati sepikirlah kamu, dan hiduplah dalam damai sejahtera; maka Allah, sumber kasih dan damai sejahtera akan menyertai kamu!” 2 Korintus 13:11.
“Saudara-saudari, adalah hak istimewamu untuk membawa serta surat kepercayaan ataupun tanda pengenal bahwa engkau adalah milik Kristus,—yakni kasih, sukacita, dan damai sejahtera. Maukah engkau berusaha sungguh-sungguh agar tanaman kasih surgawi ini berakar di hatimu, dan kemudian akankah engkau dengan lembut merawatnya agar tidak layu dan mati? Biarkan Kristus muncul. Jangan memelihara semangat kemandirian yang akan menuntunmu untuk merasa bahwa jika saudara-saudaramu tidak setuju denganmu, mereka pasti salah. Pendapat saudara-saudaramu adalah sama berharganya bagi mereka seperti pendapatmu bagimu. Kristus di dalam dirimu akan mempersatukan dirimu dengan Kristus di dalam diri mereka, dan akan ada semangat roh persatuan yang manis.” HS 126.1.
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11.
“Brethren, it is your privilege to carry with you the credentials that you are Christ’s,—love, joy, and peace. Will you seek earnestly to have this heavenly plant of love become rooted in your hearts, and then will you tenderly cherish it lest it wither and die? Let Christ appear. Do not cherish a spirit of independence which will lead you to feel that if your brethren do not agree with you they must be wrong. The opinions of your brethren are just as precious to them as yours are to you. Christ in you will unite you to Christ in them, and there will be a sweet spirit of union.” HS 126.1.
