PEKERJAAN BAGI ORANG PERCAYA

“Dan Ia berkata kepada mereka, Pergilah ke seluruh dunia, beritakanlah Injil kepada segala makhluk. Siapa yang percaya dan dibaptis akan diselamatkan, tetapi siapa yang tidak percaya akan dihukum.” Markus 16:15-16.

“Kristus berulang kali mendesakkan murid-murid-Nya untuk memberitakan Injil kepada dunia. Ketika Ia telah berada satu langkah lagi menuju takhta Allah, Ia membukakan pemahaman mereka, agar mereka dapat mengerti Alkitab, serta mengulang-ulangi lagi perintah lama untuk pergi dan memberitakan pekabaran keselamatan.” RH 6 November 1894, par. 4.

“Kristus memberi petunjuk kepada mereka tentang pekerjaan yang harus mereka lakukan di bumi, sesuai dengan teladan yang telah Ia berikan kepada mereka dalam pelayanan-Nya.” 18LtMs, Ms 40, 1903, par. 21.

“Ini adalah pekerjaan bagi orang percaya. Pekerjaan ini tidak hanya melibatkan beberapa pendeta yang ditahbiskan, tetapi juga seluruh umat Allah. Pekerjaan ini terbentang di hadapan setiap pria, wanita, dan bahkan orang muda ataupun anak-anak yang telah terdaftar dalam bala tentara Allah.” 15LtMs, Ms 67, 1900, par. 11.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:15, 16.

“Christ urges again and again upon his disciples the obligation to make known the gospel to the world. When within one step of the throne of God, he opened their understanding, that they might know the Scriptures, repeating again the old commandment to go forth and preach the message of salvation.” RH November 6, 1894, par. 4.

“Christ instructed them in regard to the work they were to carry on in the earth, according to the example He had set them in His ministry.” 18LtMs, Ms 40, 1903, par. 21.

“This is the work before believers. It includes not only a few ordained ministers, but all God’s people. A work is laid out before every man, woman, and child who has enlisted in the Lord’s army.” 15LtMs, Ms 67, 1900, par. 11.
