TERUS MAJU DAN MENANG SEBAGAIMANA DIA
“Ia sendiri tidak akan menjadi pudar (gagal) dan tidak akan patah terkulai (putus asa / menjadi kecewa), sampai ia menegakkan hukum di bumi; segala pulau mengharapkan pengajarannya.” Yesaya 42:4.
“… Kristus tidak gagal, Ia juga tidak putus asa, dan para pengikut-Nya pun harus menunjukkan iman yang sama teguhnya demikian. Mereka harus hidup sebagaimana Dia hidup, dan bekerja sebagaimana Dia bekerja, karena mereka bergantung kepada-Nya sebagai Sang Pekerja Agung. Keberanian, kuasa, dan ketekunan harus mereka miliki. Meskipun kemustahilan yang tampak menghalangi jalan mereka, oleh kasih karunia-Nya mereka harus terus maju. Mereka dipanggil bukan untuk meratapi kesulitan melainkan untuk mengatasinya. Mereka tidak boleh putus asa akan apa pun, dan harus selalu berpengharapan dalam segala sesuatu. Dengan rantai emas kasih-Nya yang tak tertandingi, Kristus telah mengikat mereka kepada takhta Allah. Adalah tujuan-Nya agar pengaruh tertinggi di alam semesta, yang berasal dari sumber segala kuasa, akan menjadi milik mereka. Mereka harus memiliki kuasa untuk melawan kejahatan, kuasa yang tidak dapat dikuasai oleh bumi, maut, maupun neraka, kuasa yang akan memampukan mereka untuk menang sebagaimana Kristus telah menang.” DA 679.3.
“He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.” Isaiah 42:4.
“… Christ did not fail, neither was He discouraged, and His followers are to manifest a faith of the same enduring nature. They are to live as He lived, and work as He worked, because they depend on Him as the great Master Worker. Courage, energy, and perseverance they must possess. Though apparent impossibilities obstruct their way, by His grace they are to go forward. Instead of deploring difficulties, they are called upon to surmount them. They are to despair of nothing, and to hope for everything. With the golden chain of His matchless love Christ has bound them to the throne of God. It is His purpose that the highest influence in the universe, emanating from the source of all power, shall be theirs. They are to have power to resist evil, power that neither earth, nor death, nor hell can master, power that will enable them to overcome as Christ overcame.” DA 679.3.***
