HIDUP KEKRISTENAN YANG SELARAS DENGAN-NYA

“Sebab aku telah mati oleh hukum Taurat untuk hukum Taurat, supaya aku hidup untuk Allah. Aku telah disalibkan dengan Kristus; namun aku hidup, tetapi bukan lagi aku sendiri yang hidup, melainkan Kristus yang hidup di dalam aku. Dan hidupku yang kuhidupi sekarang di dalam daging, adalah hidup oleh iman dalam Anak Allah yang telah mengasihi aku dan menyerahkan diri-Nya untuk aku.” Galatia 2:19-20.

“Penerimaan Kristus memberi nilai bagi manusia. Pengorbanan-Nya membawa kehidupan dan terang bagi semua orang yang menerima Kristus sebagai Juruselamat pribadi mereka…” 1SM 299.4.

Orang Kristen harus bekerja bersama Allah, jika tidak, mereka akan gagal dalam kemenangan, dan pengaruh mereka akan menyebabkan orang lain gagal pula. Tidak ada seorang pun yang terhilang yang tidak menjatuhkan orang lain juga. Hendaklah mereka yang menyebut nama Kristus meninggalkan segala kejahatan, agar Kristus tidak malu terhadap para pengikut-Nya yang mengaku nama-Nya.” ST 17 Juli 1901, par. 6.

“Kekristenan mengubahkan tabiat, menyelaraskan kehendak diri dengan kehendak Allah. Umat Allah pun menjadi jelas dibedakan dari orang-orang duniawi karena mereka mengikuti rencana Allah.” 16LtMs, Ms 97, 1901, par. 34.

“For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:19-20 (KJV).

Christians must be laborers together with God, or they will fail of overcoming, and their influence will cause others to fail. No one is lost who does not also draw others down.
