MEMPERTAHANKAN TABIAT KUDUS UMAT-NYA
“Berbicaralah kepada segenap jemaah Israel dan katakan kepada mereka: Kuduslah kamu, sebab Aku, TUHAN, Allahmu, kudus.” Imamat 19:2.
“Umat Allah harus senantiasa berjuang untuk mempertahankan tabiat mereka yang unik dan kudus, dan dalam kondisi atau keadaan apa pun salib Kristus tidak boleh dijauhi ataupun dikesampingkan.” 1LtMs, Lt 9, 1861, par. 9.
“Umat Allah hendaknya tidak meniru mode dunia. Semua orang yang melakukan ini lambat laun akan kehilangan tabiat unik dan kudus yang seharusnya membedakan mereka sebagai umat Allah.” RH 8 April 1880, par. 5.

“Dia telah datang untuk memulihkan ibadat sejati kepada Allah. Dia harus membawa agama yang murni hati, yang akan terwujud dalam kehidupan yang murni dan tabiat yang kudus.” SJ 60.1.
