PENDIDIKAN TERTINGGI

“Maka engkau akan memperoleh pengertian tentang takut akan TUHAN dan mendapat pengenalan akan Allah. Karena TUHANlah yang memberikan hikmat, dari mulut-Nya datang pengetahuan dan kepandaian.” Amsal 2:5-6.

“Pendidikan tertinggi di dunia kita dapat ditemukan dalam ajaran Firman Allah. Menerima ajarannya, dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsipnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, berarti menerima pendidikan tertinggi yang dapat diperoleh manusia. Itulah satu-satunya pendidikan yang akan menjamin kita masuk ke dalam kota Allah.” 24LtMs, Lt 94a, 1909, par. 43.

“Kita harus menjaga diri kita dengan lebih ketat dengan Firman Allah sebagaimana yang belum pernah kita lakukan sebelumnya. … Kita memiliki pendidikan tertinggi yang dapat diperoleh di dunia. Apakah itu? Yaitu menaati Allah sesuai dengan tiap kata dalam Firman-Nya. Itulah pendidikan tertinggi yang dapat diperoleh di dunia. Itulah pendidikan yang akan menyelamatkan jiwa-jiwa di dunia kita.” 25LtMs, Ms 84, 1910, par. 38.

“Pengetahuan tentang Allah dan Yesus Kristus ‘yang telah diutus-Nya’ adalah pendidikan tertinggi, dan pengetahuan itu akan menyelimuti bumi dengan penerangannya yang menakjubkan bagaikan air yang menyelimuti lautan.” 6T 131.2.

“Siapakah yang telah mencapai pendidikan tertinggi? Yakni barangsiapa yang telah menaati semua perintah Hukum Allah.” 21LtMs, Ms 141, 1906, par. 60.

“Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:5-6 (KJV).

“The highest education in our world is to be found in the teachings of the Word of God. To receive its teachings, to carry its principles into the daily life, is to receive the highest education that man can gain. It is the only education that will secure us an entrance into the city of God.” 24LtMs, Lt 94a, 1909, par. 43.

“We must strictly guard ourselves with the Word of God as we have never guarded ourselves before. … We have the highest education that there is to be had in the world. What is it? It is to obey God according to the letter of the Word. That is the highest education that there is to be had in the world. That is the education that is going to save the souls in our world.” 25LtMs, Ms 84, 1910, par. 38.

“A knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ “whom He has sent” is the highest education, and it will cover the earth with its wonderful enlightenment as the waters cover the sea.” 6T 131.2.

“Who has had the highest education? It is those that have been obedient to all of God’s commandments.” 21LtMs, Ms 141, 1906, par. 60.
