Renungan Pagi 10 November 2025

MENDENGARKAN DAN MEMPERHATIKAN SUARA-NYA

“Pasanglah telinga dan dengarkanlah suaraku; perhatikanlah dan dengarkanlah perkataanku!” Yesaya 28:23.

“Alkitab, bila diterima dan dipelajari sepenuhnya sebagai suara Tuhan, akan memberi tahu umat manusia cara untuk mencapai kebahagiaan kekal, dan mengamankan harta surgawi.” SpTEd 148.1.

“Hendaknya kebenaran Tuhan menjadi bahan renungan dan meditasi kita. Bacalah Alkitab, dan hargai itu sebagai suara Tuhan yang berbicara langsung kepada kita. Maka kita akan menemukan inspirasi dan hikmat yang ilahi.” 7T 205.1.

“Berapa banyak dari antara kita yang memberikan penilaian yang benar terhadap firman Allah? Apakah kita menerima kesaksian Alkitab sebagai suara Allah? Melalui Alkitab, suara Allah datang kepada kita… Perkembangan rohani kita bergantung pada pengetahuan kita akan kebenaran, pada praktik kita akan prinsip-prinsip ilahinya sebagaimana diwujudkan dalam ajaran hukum dan dalam ajaran Allah kita.” ST 6 April 1891, par. 4.

“Firman Tuhan … harus berdiri di atas nilai-nilai kekalnya sendiri, harus dibaca sebagai firman Tuhan, harus ditaati sebagai suara Tuhan, yang menyatakan kehendak-Nya kepada umat. Kehendak dan suara manusia yang terbatas tidak boleh ditafsirkan sebagai suara Tuhan.” SpTEd 195.1.

“Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.” Isaiah 28:23 (KJV).

“The Bible, fully received and studied as the voice of God, tells the human family how to reach the abodes of eternal happiness, and secure the treasures of heaven.” SpTEd 148.1.”Let the truth of God be the subject for contemplation and meditation. Read the Bible, and regard it as the voice of God speaking directly to you. Then will you find inspiration and that wisdom which is divine.” 7T 205.1.”How many of us place a right estimate upon the word of God? Do we receive the testimony of the Scriptures as the voice of God? Through the Scriptures the voice of God comes to us… Our spiritual development depends upon our knowledge of the truth, upon our practice of its divine principles as embodied in the precepts of the law and in the teaching of our Lord.” ST April 6, 1891, par. 4.”The word of God is … to stand on its own eternal merits, to be read as the word of God, to be obeyed as the voice of God, which declares his will to the people. The will and voice of finite man are not to be interpreted as the voice of God.” SpTEd 195.1.***
